Sunday is one of my favorite days of the week. Aside from fellowship at church and brunch, it’s one of the very few days of the week where I honestly get an opportunity to rest, travel, and relax with no commitments.

I thought in honor of our lazy, explorative Sundays, that I’d include some pictures from some of our spontaneous adventures.

Per usual, Starbucks completely misspelled my name. I’m not upset about it at all considering my name isn’t the easiest to pronounce let alone spell, but it’s always humoring to see. Also, in their defense, I don’t speak as clearly as I probably should and am known to be a fast-talker (and typer). I told Han today that I should just start a blog, posting images with all of the ways I’ve seen my name spelled on a Starbucks cup. The newest addition to the list is Rhondae.

Han during one of our many Greg’s Kitchen brunch dates. By far our favorite place to eat when we’re in Manayunk. If you’re in the area, you’ve got to try it! One of our favorite things to grab from there is their Sloppy Brekky (breakfast in a cup), which includes sloppy joe, tater tots, egg, cheese, and scallions. It’s delicious! Han’s personal favorite is the Pork Sandwich.

A couple Sundays ago we went to Harrisburg, a place on our bucket-list of places to travel that we’ve been half-joking about and half-serious about for quite a while. Han loves to drive and I love to travel to different places, so it’s perfect – especially on Sundays when we both want to get out of the city. It was our first time there and it was pretty awesome because there was some festival happening that day. Han got this amazingly good chocolate-covered cheesecake (yep, it’s a thing), which unfortunately I did snap a picture of.

We took this picture one Sunday while venturing to the top of Philadelphia’s skyscrapers. It’s enclosed and reminds me a lot of observation deck in Baltimore that we visited together because of it’s panoramic views. I am petrified of heights, but it was pretty cool being able to see Philadelphia from that height.

I took this during a day-trip to New Castle, Delaware. Han’s from the state, so he knows his way around this place like the back of his hand. I remember one of the last times we visited, it seemed like nearly the entire park was playing Pokemon Go. We were not.

Exploring Valley Forge park and making silly faces in the process. One thing I distinctly remember from this day was it being so windy that I kept bringing up the fact that this was going to be a bad hair day for me. Judging by the pictures, I was correct.

This one was probably one of my favorite places to visit. Han’s been here before and decided to take me one morning after brunch and it was awesome! I got a headache from being so high up above Reading, but it was beautiful! God’s creation is so stunning!

There’s certainly more images where that came from, but what are your favorite things to do on Sundays?
