I’m a child of God, an educator, a lover of puns and a coffee aficionado who loves discussing life, Jesus, the ninja turtles and dad jokes while sipping caramel macchiatos over brunch. I value authenticity and try my best to live a life that is intentional, authentic, and glorifying to God. I love to encourage others, capture memories using my DSLR camera, explore new places and try new things with my husband.
MORE ABOUT THE WRITER BEHIND CHICKEN AND BLISS
Growing up, I imagined myself as many things. Originally, I saw myself becoming a singer because I used to desire to be like the pop-stars I listened to as a child. Later, I imagined myself as being a high-school English teacher that went on gushing about her favorite literary favorites such as F. Scott Fitzgerald and encouraged her students to reach their full potential.
I’m pretty sure I also thought I was going to be Justin Timberlake’s trophy wife one day, crazily enough, but I digress.
Yet, God had different plans for me and I’m so glad He did. This about me will probably change more than once because of it. I am still working in education and will always feel passionate about allowing all students to receive quality education, but in a capacity that aligns more with what God’s plan is for my life. Since giving my life to Him, I’m learning more and more what it means know God and what He’s brought me on this earth to do.
I am constantly growing and changing through Christ, who sacrificed his life so we may be forgiven.
I am on a journey to glorify God, spread the word of God, obey Him, love others, live intentionally, and seek to know Him more deeply than before in all areas of our lives. I hope that through my testimony and blog you feel inspired to seek Him as well!
