My mom used to say that our living spaces tend to reflect our lives because it’s impossible to be clear-headed when your space is so cluttered. As with many words of wisdoms and nibbles of knowledge that my mom has shared with me over the years, she’s right. I cannot function properly when our apartment is a hot mess, but candidly speaking, as a teacher it’s been harder and harder to find time to deep clean our apartment.
